This study aims to analyze the criminal liability of drug dealers and efforts to prevent drug distribution in the Class IIA Doyo Prison, Jayapura Regency. The methods used are normative and empirical legal research. The results indicate that perpetrators of drug distribution in prisons can be held criminally responsible under Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Prevention efforts are carried out through routine raids, visitor supervision, control of illegal communication devices, cooperation with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Police, and inmate guidance.
