ANALISIS PERAN UMKM DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN EKONOMI DI KALIMANTAN TIMUR

MSMEs are one of the most important pillars of the economy, and are even referred to as the backbone of the national economy. The role of MSMEs has a significant impact on job creation, labour absorption, national GDP, and serves as an active driver of the local economy. This research aims to determine the role of MSMEs in increasing growth and the economy in East Kalimantan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive literature study method. The results of the study show that MSMEs play a vital role in the economic growth and development of East Kalimantan.
