Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence, particularly Deep Learning, has driven a methodological revolution in scientific research. While previously research methods relied on human observation, conventional statistics, and manual analysis techniques, Deep Learning now serves as a research instrument capable of processing large amounts of data, discovering latent patterns, and generating predictions automatically. This article aims to examine the concept of the methodological revolution that emerged from the integration of Deep Learning as a research instrument, encompassing paradigm shifts, new approaches to data processing, theoretical implications, and challenges in its use. The method used is a literature review of recent journals on Deep Learning, digital research methodology, and the data-driven paradigm. The results of the discussion indicate that Deep Learning is not merely an analytical tool but has become a new methodology that enables more adaptive, accurate, and multimodal research. However, challenges such as the Black Box Problem, data bias, and limited access to technology remain obstacles. This article emphasizes that Deep Learning has the potential to become the foundation of future research methodologies, provided it is supported by ethics, transparency, and increased research technology literacy.
