KEBIJAKAN MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH : STRATEGI PENDEKATAN GANDA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS SEKOLAH DI SDIT BRILLIANT SCHOOL

Abstract

This study aims to analyze School-Based Management (SBM) policy as a dual approach strategy in improving school quality at SDIT Brilliant School. The dual approach refers to a managerial approach and an Islamic educational values approach. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the SBM policy, which is implemented in a participatory manner and based on Islamic values, is capable of improving school quality, as reflected in the improvement of learning quality, a conducive school climate, and the strengthening of student character. The dual approach allows the SBM policy to function not only administratively but also as an instrument for forming a sustainable Islamic school culture.
