EVALUASI PENERAPAN ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM) PADA PT TELKOM INDONESIA (PERSERO) TBK

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the implementation of Enterprise Risk Management at PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The research problem focused on the extent to which the company’s risk management practices aligned with the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission framework and their effectiveness in supporting corporate governance and strategic goal achievement. The objective of this research was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the company’s risk management system and assess the degree of integration between risk management processes and corporate planning and decision making. The research method employed content analysis of annual reports and internal risk management documentation, complemented by an evaluative comparison against internationally recognized theoretical indicators and best practices. The findings indicated that the company implemented a robust risk governance structure, systematic risk identification procedures, and adequate oversight mechanisms, although the integration of risk appetite and risk-based performance indicators into strategic execution required further enhancement. This research concluded that the company’s Enterprise Risk Management implementation was at a mature level, yet still needed improvement in risk measurement and performance-based monitoring.
