Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in human life, including in aspects of Islamic religion and civilization. Technology not only influences how people communicate and obtain information, but also plays a crucial role in the transformation of Islamic preaching, education, and strengthening the identity of Muslims. This article aims to examine the role of technology in the development of Islamic civilization in the digital era and analyze the opportunities and challenges faced by Muslims in utilizing technology wisely. The research method used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study indicate that digital technology has great potential to strengthen Islamic civilization if utilized in accordance with the values ​​of monotheism, ethics, and Islamic morals.
