Legal Counseling with the topic "Legal Protection for Small Businesses in Market Competition in Hedam Village, Heram District, Jayapura City", was conducted with the aim of knowing the criteria, market regulations and legal protection for small business owners in market competition in Jayapura City. Market performance describes the efficiency of a market in using scarce resources to meet consumer demand for goods and services. Legal protection for small business owners in market competition in Hedam Village in its various policies. Competition policies for the relevant market are not implemented through supervision of market structure and market behavior based on analysis of small business owners in business practices that are difficult to develop as long as the Jayapura City government and medium to large business owners do not have concern in providing business space for small business owners in modern trade centers, such as in shophouse complexes, malls and supermarkets.
